1 Prerequisites

The following are the prerequisites for installing ExpressCheck:

• NET 4.6.2 or Higher
• Windows 10 or newer
• Linga POS system must be installed and active on all workstations
• Each workstation must have internet access
• CityCheers account credentials must be available before setup

2 POS Configuration – Pre Installation

The following section describes the required changes in Linga Cloud Back Office prior to installation:

2.1 Verify Linga Account Access
Log in to the Linga Cloud Back Office.

2.2 Create New Employee Role
Go to Settings → Employee Roles and create ExpressCheck Integration with API and order privileges.

2.3 Add Integration User
Under Employees, create user ExpressCheckAPI and assign the new role.

2.4 Create Payment Type
In Settings → Payment Types, add ExpressCheck; set it to External Payment Processor and enable “Reference Required”.

2.5 Add Service Charge
Under Menu → Charges, create Expck Reward Club Fee ($0.50, non-taxable).

2.6 Create Reward Item
Under Promotions → Discounts, add ExpressReward with flexible discount rules.

2.7 Sync the Configuration
Click Sync to POS to push the new settings to all devices.
