CityCheers Requirements
Merchant services refers to companies that provide credit card processing services as a Value Added Reseller (VAR) for anyone using a Point Of Sale (POS) system to process sales transactions using a credit card. Just like your POS uses merchant services to process credit cards onsite, CityCheers uses a Payment Gateway that can integrate with all of the major merchant services provider and uses a tokenized transaction, which does not expose your credit card in the process at all. CityCheers needs a separate Merchant ID (MID) from the merchant services provider that you are using, so that we can authorize the tokenized transactions by your patrons.
Merchant Services Providers
We integrate with most major credit card processors, ensuring that payments are directed to your existing provider. Below are some of the providers that we use and recommend:
TSYS:
Please provide a VAR sheet set up with a new Terminal ID. This file should be configured for Terminal Capture using Intellipay as the gateway.
FDMS:
You will also need a VAR sheet with a new Terminal ID, built on the Nashville North platform. We currently use Intellipay as the gateway for these transactions.
ISO:
Some processors are not currently supported by our platform, which means we will need to obtain a new MID for your ExpressCheck transactions. However, we have trusted processors that we can connect you with to provide this. Our ISOs are committed to matching or beating your existing rates.
